Sentinel Convex & Matrix Railings A versatile railing system ideal for applications where the emphasis is not on exclusion but on protection, safety and demarcation. Such as children’s playgrounds, schools, parks and commercial premises. Built in rigidity Very high rigidity achieved by using unique custom rolled ‘C’ section to top and bottom rails with welded vertical infill tubes. Aesthetics The panels provide a robust yet extremely decorative and elegant finish. The panel’s posts and gates are all designed with the same eye for detail. Easy installation This system is designed to be easily installed and all components are designed to be fully integrated and concealed. The system allows for stepping of up to 150mm per panel, to cope with slopping ground. Panels Panels are available in 4 specifications in a full range of heights from 1.0m to 2.4m. All panels are constructed from custom rolled ‘C’ section horizontal rails with both round and square vertical tube infill. Different railing styles are available to suit different requirements, both visual and security performance. Bow top options are ideal for applications where safety is paramount importance for example, the enclosure of children’s play areas. Where security and deterrence are required, circular or diamond section straight pales with optional squarecut or angle-cut tops to deter climbing are available.
Posts Rolled and welded square hollow section tube. 1.0m – 1.2m high: 60 x 60 x 2mm 1.5m – 2.0m high: 60 x 60 x 2.5mm 2.4m high: 80 x 80 x 2.5mm Unique Fixing System Black GRP spacers are inserted into each end of the horizontal rails and are recessed on the underside to guide the rails into position on the mounting brackets, in both the level and stepping positions. The recess is also designed to allow the panels to pivot through 5° (250mm) backwards or forwards from the post, for installation around flat or sloping curves. Gates The Sentinel railing systems are totally finished and safely equipped with single or double gates. Infill tubes and gate heights match the adjoining fence panels. Horizontal rails are located at the same height as the adjoining panels, and have 50mm minimum ground clearance.
